How long have you been consigning with KidStuff Sale?
I’ve been buying for 5 years now, but selling for two years—though I’m not stopping anytime soon! I hate clutter and love cash, so it’s a win-win 😀
What’s your favorite thing about KidStuff Sale?
It feels like Christmas! As a kid, you have no idea what Santa brought you. With KidStuff Sale, you can go every day and find something new and interesting that you didn’t see the day before. I love all the deals!
What’s been your best find/steal at KidStuff Sale?
My kids keep finding toys at friends’ houses or even the dentist’s office that they love and want so very badly and, of course, those toys are no longer made and are going for astronomical prices on eBay. I love that I can always count on finding the EXACT toys at the next KidStuff Sale for amazing prices! One of our had-to-haves was a Little People Animal Zoo, with zoo talker animals. They had at least a dozen of the zoos! I had my pick of them and I even found extra animals, new in their original boxes, at the sale, way cheaper than retail. My kids still play with that 2 years later.
Tell us about your family!
I am married with two kiddos, ages 4 and 2, both boys.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a family?
We love to visit various parks and go for walks.
What’s your favorite thing about being a mom?
The hugs and kisses absolutely cannot be beat.
What’s your favorite go-to summer recipe?
Chick-fil-a. Does that count as a favorite summer go-to recipe? Lol! We get great food, I don’t have to cook, and we can finally run and play in a place that is air conditioned. It’s nice to get a break from the kitchen and outside heat.
What do you like to do with your family when school’s out?
My oldest is only in preschool, so life doesn’t change much during the breaks. We like to do a lot of playdates, so the kids and moms can all have fun!
What advice do you have for moms looking to consign with and/or shop KidStuff Sale for the first time?
First off, take a deep breath. Shopping and/or consigning can be overwhelming at first, but as with anything, it gets so much easier the more you do it. With consigning, START EARLY! You will never be upset that you tagged weeks in advance.
For shoppers, get a babysitter. It is totally worth finding a sitter, even if you have to pay. Not only can you shop easier, it makes you able to find and buy all those Christmas presents without those curious eyes watching you.
